Make sure that your conclusions regarding your development/learning directly relate to the experiences you describe. If you use the University’s eportfolio PebblePad, you may find the ‘Thought’ tool useful (Create > Thought > Reflective cycle). This gives you space to record your: experience - what was involved in your experience; reaction - what you did and felt in this experience; analysis - what you can learn from this; and planning - what you will do differently as a result in the future. These map easily onto the CARL framework (experience=context; reaction=action; analysis and planning=result and learning). This article was published on 2024-05-06
