Give a sense of progress and stay concise

Your reflection is a mini-story so give the reader a sense of the before, during and after.

Try to avoid repetition, especially between the reflections on the three skills/abilities you wanted to develop during the Award (your development priorities) and on the impact you had. The key difference is:

  • development priorities - these three reflections should look at how your experiences/situation impacted on you, i.e. what difference they made to you; and
  • impact - this reflection should look at what impact you made on the situation you were in.
